Kristina Gaddi (Tina)

Nurse Tina’s began her career as an animal health advocate in early 2011, but her passion for animals started much earlier. As a child, a visit from a local farm barn sparked a lifelong interest in animal care and handling – a moment that helped shape her future.

Tina is committed to providing comfortable, stress-free care for every patient. She has completed her certificate 1 in Fear Free training and is known for her calm, compassionate approach to nursing. Ensuring that animals feel safe and supported during their time in the clinic is one of her highest priorities.

If you’ve met Tina in the clinic, you’ll know she is energetic, personable, and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Her integrity and dedication have earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike, with regular feedback such as “She is great! Make sure you keep her” and “We love the way she looks after out pet”.

Outside of the clinic, Tina can be found at the beach – rain, hail or shine – normally chasing after her very energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, Sonny.

Dr Piri Cutts

Associate Veterinarian

Dr Piri Cutts has dreamed of being a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. That dream took her across the country from her home in Victoria, to study veterinary medicine in Western Australia, before beginning her career in beautiful South Australia.

A dedicated and self-confessed crazy animal lover, Dr Piri graduated from Murdoch University in 2008. Since then, Piri has gained extensive experience working both in general and emergency veterinary practice, driven by her unwavering passion for animal health, well-being, and the human-animal bond.

Dr Piri Cutts brings a broad and compassionate skill set to her patients, with expertise spanning medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, behaviour, sonology, and emergency care. She is Fear Free Certified and combines her broad skill base with compassion to provide the highest standards of care.

A true believer that all creatures – and their human families – deserves kindness, understanding, and expert care, Dr Piri continues to set a high standard in everything she does.

Dr Ella South

Associate Veterinarian

Dr Ella South was born and raised in Adelaide and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Before that, she completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours in Forensic Pathology.

Dr Ella loves the diversity and challenges of general practice, especially internal medicine, dentistry and preventative health care. She values building strong relationships with pets and their families, ensuring care is tailored to individual needs – something she considers particularly important when managing chronic disease or providing palliative care.

Since joining Pet Society Vet, Dr Ella she has completed her Fear Free Certificate I and plans to continue with further certification to support low-stress handling and treatment.

Dr Ella is enthusiastic about dental care, both in preventative and in treatment and surgery, recognising the importance of this pillar of health for the longevity and quality of life for her patients.

Outside of work, Dr Ella is kept busy with her 3 young children and Nova Scotia retriever ‘Flynn’. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and friends.

Dr Lizzy Davey

Associate Veterinarian

" First they steal your heart, then they’ll steal your bed"

After realising it was too late to become an astronaut (and that she hated studying law) Lizzy completed her DVM at the University of Adelaide. Ophthalmology became her passion during the final years of study which saw her pursue this field in Melbourne.

Family has called her back to Adelaide after 5 years in Melbourne gaining experience working both as a GP veterinarian in Melbourne’s busy Inner North and completing an internship with specialist veterinary ophthalmologists.

Watching dogs wake from cataract surgery and seeing their owners again for the first is pure magic! Along with Ophthalmology, Lizzy’s special interests include behaviour medicine, dermatology, anaesthesia and analgesia.

Lizzy is passionate about sharing what she learns in all areas of veterinary medicine and ophthalmology with anyone willing to listen. She also enjoys sampling local wines, especially while watching social and cultural documentaries such as MAFS.

Dr Erika Sullivan

Veterinarian & TCVM Practitioner

Dr Erika Sullivan is a veterinarian from Toronto, Canada, with over a decade of experience in a small animal practice, including ophthalmology and emergency care. After eight years in clinical practice in Canada, Dr Erika spent nine months in Thailand working at an elephant and dog shelter, before moving to Australia where she expanded her veterinary career in emergency medicine, teaching veterinary nursing, and even pursued her passion for marine life as a scuba diving instructor and shark conservation enthusiast!

Dr Erika Sullivan is certified in Traditional Chinese Herbal therapy, Food therapy, and Acupuncture, and has spent over 10 years expanding her alternative modality portfolio. She believes all of her patients benefit from a more holistic approach to treatment and care.

Dr Erika is passionate about travelling abroad, promoting wildlife conservation, and using the need to help street animals overseas as an opportunity to educate those pursuing a career in the veterinary industry – all while making a difference to animals in need.

Erika lives with a naughty rescued pet conure named El Chapo and her beautiful daughter.

Leanne

Nurse - Cert IV & Nutritional Consultant

Leanne began her nursing career in 2005 after rescuing and caring for a baby possum. She has always had a huge love for all kinds of animals – a love that continues to grow each day.

Leanne has a special place in her heart for the “the golden oldies” and is dedicated to providing high standards of care to our aging pets.  She is passionate about practicing Fear Free nursing to ensure that every animal feels safe and comfortable during their visits and treatment.

Leanne is our clinics Cat Friendly Clinic Silver Accreditation Advocate through ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine), ensuring our environment and care standards always support the wellbeing of our feline friends. She also created the Calm Clinic programme with Ceva, using Adaptil and Feliway throughout the clinic to help reduce stress for our fur babies when they visit. Leanne has completed her advanced Fear Free certification training and is leading the development of Fear Free Certification for the clinic itself.

In addition, she has undertaken further study in small animal nutrition through the Hills Nutritional Consultation Course and endeavours to provide high quality nutrition advice to support her patients’ health.

Leanne is a caring and gentile soul, with many clients requesting her personally for their pet’s nurse consults, nail trims and overall care within the clinic.

When not at work, Leanne is kept busy running her children to various sports and spending time with her two border collies, Oakley and Archie, her rescue cat Jello, and Danger Noodles – a baby stimpson python.

Tanya

Senior Nurse - Cert IV

"There is no better mood booster than a dog wagging it’s tail just for you or a cat purring in your ear"

Tanya started her pet care career in 2010 and gained her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2013.

She is an experienced and highly skilled surgical nurse, great client communicator and patient advocate. Tanya understands the importance of reducing stress and fear in our patients and is great at stress free animal handling techniques and patient management, having completed her Fear Free Certificate II.

A lifelong animal lover, one of Tanya’s favourite things is when a friendly neighbourhood cat seeks her out for a pat. Like many in the Veterinary field, she took home a tiny stray kitten early in her career – Jude, a black and white cat, has been her loyal companion ever since.

Tanya believes all animals should be treated with respect and understanding and is a strong advocate for Fear Free principals in every aspect of care.

Taylor

Animal Attendant

Taylor’s passion for animals began at a young age, growing up surrounded by a variety of species including dogs, chickens, frogs, cockatiels, and rabbits. This early love for animals led her to pursue a career in animal care. She completed her Certificate III in Animal Studies during school and is now working towards her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Taylor’s long-term goal is to become a vet so she can care for and help as many animals as possible. Known for her compassionate nature and dedication to her work, she is always eager to learn and grow in the field. Her colleagues value her enthusiasm, caring attitude, and genuine love for all creatures.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys beach days with her German Shepherd, Whiskey, and quiet moments with her two cockatiels, Pebbles and Marble, and her rabbit, Benji.

Nurse Emma

Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse

With a career rooted in a deep love for animals, Emma has dedicated herself to the veterinary industry since 2008 and earned her professional qualification in 2010.

Emma has always felt a strong connection to animals, having grown up in a home filled with rescue cats. This connection has shaped her approach to nursing, where animal welfare and patient advocacy are central to her work. She is committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care — physically, emotionally, and psychologically — and has recently begun her Fear Free certification.

Outside of work, she is a mother to three children and three pets—her chocolate lab, Iggy Pup, and her two rescue cats, Lily Pad and Marshmallow. In her downtime, Emma enjoys pilates, camping, and op-shopping.
